A day spent like a book of those usual lines.
Gone through and through;a boredom though.
I switched off the lights
transmuting my room into a terrene darkness.
I went over the curtains to slide them aside
before I let wrinkles on my unsettled blanket.
Drenched with the overwhelming sweat,
I peeped at her windows for a while.
She was so studious that I had sleepless nights;
A drug pinching my nerve and
‘making out’ the nocturnal being.
